Show your family and friends “The Best Trip Ever” with our all-inclusive Deep Sea Fishing Adventure. This half day (4 hours approximately) is jammed packed with education, adventure, swimming, discovery, food, and of course fun for everyone onboard.
This ½ day package includes:
We provide all snacks, beverages and the necessary gear for adults and children.
Your 4 hour adventure begins when you leave the historic fishing village of Souris around 10:00 am(sometimes later because of the tide) This first part of the tour gives you an educational and hands-on experience on how lobster and crab make it from the beautiful blue waters to the kitchen table. You will learn how some of PEI’s shellfish are caught, sorted and prepared.
Next up is some seal watching. We take you to the Fortune Reef where we visit a huge herd of seals that have inhabited the area for many generations. There are usually hundreds of harbour seals that swim up to the boat to say hello and put on a little show each visit. – Our passengers sometimes try to give them all names!
The next stop is our PEI Bar Clamming adventure. This is usually a favorite among kids! We outfit everyone with wetsuits, masks and snorkels and take a short boat ride into the Rollo Bay beach flats. After we get into the water we hunt for these huge clams (4-8 inches long) that bury themselves under the sand. Once the feast has been caught we head back to the boat for an authentic PEI cookout. Sample some seafood and our catch of the day for anyone that is interested in trying it. And for the land lovers, we have hot dogs and various chips and snacks to keep them happy.
After a short boat ride back across the bay to the mackerel ground, we finish up with some deep sea fishing. This is always a huge hit with kids and adults alike. We had one child catch 60 mackerel in one afternoon alone! He holds the Paradise by the Sea Adventures record.
We were very successful in the last few summers of because of the great weather conditions we experienced.
We provide all snacks, beverages and gear. All you need to take is your camera and an appetite!!!
